Re.Lab – Project è un progetto di moda sostenibile che abbina ai capi che indossiamo, i valori in cui crediamo. Secondo i dettami dell’economia circolare, gli abiti recuperati vengono trasformati, per mezzo di un intervento creativo, in articoli di abbigliamento nuovamente commerciabili col vantaggio di non dover attingere a nuove risorse. Attraverso la pratica dell’upcycling, l’abito si arricchisce non solo di un valore estetico rinnovato, ma anche di dimensioni simboliche, concettuali e morali che non aveva in precedenza. Cosi’ abiti femminili e maschili vengono privati di ogni riferimento di genere per renderli genderfree e garantire una parità sociale oltre ad ogni simbolismo.
Grazie all’uso della tecnologia Relab-Project diffonde attraverso i suoi capi una coscienza ambientale rivolta alla salvaguardia del Pianeta e alla tutela dei diritti umani, all’emergenza climatica, alla necessità di ridurre le emissioni di CO2 e il consumo di acqua. Il QR-Code che accompagna ogni capo, riconduce all’ultimo articolo comparso sul blog del brand riguardante l’economia circolare e la moda sostenibile.

Re.Lab - Project is a sustainable fashion project that combines the garments we wear with the values we believe in. According to the dictates of the circular economy, the recovered clothes are transformed, by means of a creative intervention, into articles of clothing that can be re-marketed with the advantage of not having to draw on new resources. Through the practice of upcycling, the dress is enriched not only with a renewed aesthetic value, but also with symbolic, conceptual and moral dimensions that it did not previously have. Thus, women's and men's clothes are deprived of any gender reference to make them gender-free and guarantee social equality in addition to any symbolism. Thanks to the use of technology, Relab-Project spreads through its garments an environmental awareness aimed at safeguarding the planet and protecting human rights, the climate emergency, the need to reduce CO2 emissions and water consumption.
